Wine tasting at a Local home

Wine and Food tasting with a Local is an authentic experience in the center of Sofia. While traveling abroad, it is always fun to taste the local wine and food. We offer you a chance to get to know Bulgarian drinks and cuisine.

Bulgaria has had traditions in wine-making since ancient times, which goes back to the Thracian time and the God of wines Dionysius. We would like to introduce you to the wines from our home area, Northwestern Bulgaria, also known as well-preserved Bulgaria. This is an area that cherishes family, and traditions, food is organic and wine is a God’s elixir. Have you heard of Gamza, also known as Kadarka? Do you know that Bulgaria is famous for our dairy products? Let us tell you more about our culture, traditions, and wine in a private experience at a local home or local bar.

The wine tasting can be at a local home, where it can be combined with a cooking class. Or if you prefer more social event, you can choose the option where we visit 2 wine bars in Sofia.
